I'm so excited about the Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides!

I've followed the series from the first movie and fell in love with Johnny Depp. All over again!

If you ask Mr. Wonderful I'm obsessed with JD. Actually just ask anyone who knows me.

Mr. Wonderful is sometimes put off by the fact that I tend to forget him if I watch any of his movies, especially the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Nuffnang G+ at MegaZip Adventure Park

Yay! Finally I get to blog this. I was too caught up playing Sims 3. :P

So the first ever outing for the newly formed G+ is the MegaZip Adventure Park.

We basically got to try all the activities they have there.

We first started off with the rope course, ClimbMax. Three levels of daring-ness. A few of us inlcuding me dared to tackle level 3. 12 metres off the ground!

While the rest tackled what they felt comfortable with.

There are a few things for sure,

1. The view is wonderful

2. The activities are exhilarating 

3. Fun, Fun, Fun!

At the end of the day, I have never felt such a rush and I worked up quite an appetite.

Nuffnang G+ Updates

So first of all let me introduce the committee for G+. From left to right, Me, Thiang, HP, Tracy and Honey.

Not inside is Joanna and William.

We had a meeting last week to discuss ideas for events.

There's one coming up in April first but limited to 20 bloggers only as its sponsored. I'll keep mum for now cos that's still in the planning stage and I don't want to jinx it.

But we intend to have an event in may to accommodate more members and for us to get to know you!

Yay! We have two ideas for that and we're still deciding, so I'll keep mum about this too! Sorry readers! If it helps, I hate keeping mum about exciting stuff.

Lo Hei With G+

Chinese New Year is one of my favourite holidays here in Singapore even tho I don't celebrate. Good food, a lil gambling, friends and most importantly, Red Packets filled with money! Haha!

OF course an integral part of Chinese New Year is Lo hei or yu shen.

Apart from the red packets, this is kinda fun!

Anyway, the Gliterrati Plus members, decided to go for Lo Hei. Its an unofficial event so please don't go knocking on Nuffnang's door!

Some of the awesome food. We went to Cafe de Hong Kong at Balestier Rd. Our dear Vice President, Thiang really lives up to her words of researching her food. Basically of course the best source of makan places is Dr. Tay's blog, ieatishootipost.blogpspot.com.

I joined last week and I just got my first assignment from them. Hopefully my tweet will get approved.

My opinion on this is still 'watch and see'

The Nang, Dang Thank You Mam

Ok If you have been on Innit recently, like 5 minutes ago (Time Check: 11:43 PM SG)
And has been reading the drama happening over at the chat board you'll know what I'm talking about.

If not, too bad because I won't rehash it. After watching silently the war of words. A few things came to mind.

WHO MODERATES INNIT??

Innit's pretty much like a real time forum. Shouldn't there me a moderator around? Usually if a moderator's around, he/she will step in. Usually blocking the parties involved for a while.

I'M SICK OF THE NANG DANG SYSTEM

Here's a suggestion, instead of having this bloody system of which ISSUES time and time and time and time and again have been brought up by various bloggers.

Why not this?

No Nanging.
No Danging.
Just the number of views.
Honest views.

Reason's why this is better:
1. People actually view your posts instead of nanging for the sake of doing so.

2. Problems like above won't happen because
i) You can't dang.
ii) You can choose to boycott people who post up links there.
iii) It discourages fights.

3. NO MORE DANGING BECAUSE YOU DONT LIKE THAT BLOGGER BE IT BECAUSE THEY'RE UGLY, STUPID OR BASED ON YOUR PRINCIPLES! Just don't view their blog. Simple no?

With that said, I'll forward this to Nuffnang. Better than blogging bout it and Nuffnang doesn't see it.

I checked out my nuffnang page to see how many visitors I got and was kinda surprise that when I clicked on my main blog (I have 3 registered blogs) - This blog that is, I saw this.



Now usually I would see only the sky scraper rating. So a shout out to all nuffies, do you have this? What does this mean? and How'd I get it??
