Weekend Links!

Hi everyone! tonight is the New Balance Sundown Marathon! I'm pretty excited and afraid cos its my first time running for a marathon. Well techincally, I'm only running 10 KM but that's more than I've ever run at one go.  So wish me luck.

Anyway here are some awesome things in and around the internet.

(Image from the burning house)

I love the burning house! The website asks people to create a list of what they'll take if their house was burning. (Love the baby in the photo above. Too cute)

A too cute organizer called Wunderlist. You can download it for your iphone and android user. Now maybe I can get organized.

My favourite digital zine has just released their 5th issue! Rue Magazine totally rawks.

These post cards by Little Brown Pen are so beautiful, you can frame them up.

And here's Racheal Yamagata with Worn Me Down.

Time for a change!

(Image from weheartit)

Usually when I feel there's a change in the air, I'd grab a pair of scissors, skip to the bathroom (don't try
this) and have delusional thoughts that, yes, I can cut my hair an be really great at it (also don't try
this).

Then after doing the dirty deed, go running to Mr. Wonderful bawling my eyes out

(whom I believe should be a candidate for sainthood cos God knows how many times this scene has played out over the past 3 years (gosh, to think I should have learn my lesson after the first time!)),

as he sooths and hugs me, telling it was alright.

After which I head to the cheapest hair dresser (definitely not recommended)  who only speaks chinese and things get lost in translation and end up with a horrible hair cut. (You know, one day, I just might end up as a skin head) And I end up bawling my eyes out in Mr. Wonderful's arms. ( I sense a pattern here)

What's the moral of the story here? Oh yea, apart from the "don't even think about grabbing that pair of scissors!" and "don't be dumb, its worth paying to get a good hair cut",

my point is.. hmm... I have no point. Oh well.

Anyway, I believe its time for change! I did a lot of thinking, browsing through my favourite blogs and penning down why I love them and thinking about Waking Up Famous after I posted about feeling blah about blogging.

I've decided to tweak things around in my blog. You can already see a couple of changes and I'm downloading awesome free resources online like fonts! (I'm obsessesed with typography!)

So everything's a work in progress, I'll keep the header tho cos I love that header!

A Bike About Town - A Kate Spade and Adeline Adeline Collaboration

Do you cycle? I love cycling.

I wish I could cycle everywhere if I don't have to perspire a lot which is impossible with the tropical weather here.

The video is just wonderfully cute.

End of the World

( Image from: Free Art London)

Have you all heard about the End of The World prophesy by Harold Camping going viral on the internet?

Do you believe it?

For me, I don't cos after all the Mayans predicted that the world will end in 2012. *sarcasm*

I do, however believe in Judgement Day cos I'm a Catholic but I also believe that only God knows when judgement day is and its not for us to second guess or predict when.

But I do have a question, if the world were ending supposedly now on 21st October, what would you do?

Would you go on doing things as it were?

Would you try and hide and prepare a survival kit because of the prediction of the natural disasters that will occur?

Most importantly what would you do before the world end?

If it were ending, here's my end of the world list.

1. 'Fess up to my mum that when I was 7 I actually lost my first Tamagotchi instead of the lie that I told her that it was stolen in school. (Yes! I still feel guilty about it after all these years!)

2. Have an affair of a life time with Johnny Depp!

3. Start doing the things I've always wanted to do, altho I got to figure out how to fufill my dream of being a bookshop owner in 5 months.

So what's your list? I would love to hear from you

Party Planners in the Philippines must have alot of business. This is the first debut I've attended and all of a sudden, there's going to be more!

I never did have one and to be truthful, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it either but I definitely had a blast.

So Gellene, Happy Birthday!

I need a sign

(Image by Work Is Not A Job)

I love Waking Up Famous. I love blogging.

BUT I'm kind of a loss at what to do. Do you ever feel that way sometimes?

If you ask me seriously how would I define Waking Up Famous, my answer would be a blank.

Don't worry I'll continue to blog. I'll never give up blogging but if you feel that lately that my posts lack the enthusiasm and passion, I apologize.

For now I've got to do some serious soul searching and answering the following hard questions.

Why do I blog?

What do I blog about?

Am I happy with what it is now?

and most importantly,

How would I define Waking Up Famous and the direction its heading?
